JG AUDIO has been at the centre of business training and testing since the earliest days of Open and Distance Learning.

1980s
* Over 30 programmes of the original Super Series for the National Examinations Board for Supervisory Studies.

* Super Series 2 - 42 hour-long audio programmes. A million-plus seller for Pergamon Open Learning. This project enabled a whole generation of supervisory management to achieve NVQ qualifications and move on to greater responsilbilities - forging the decision-makers of the future.

1990s
* In the nineties we moved on to train the trainers! We devised, wrote and recorded the 14-module Trainer Development Programme for the Institute of Training and Development, published by Butterworth-Heinemann.

2000 -
*Since the Millennium we have worked closely with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry on their testing materials for business candidiates world-wide, and produced specialized recordings for:

* SEASPEAK - The international language for world-wide maritime communication, as authorised by the Internatinal Maritime Organisation.

* AIRSPEAK - The corresponding international language co-ordinates for world aviation.

* MARLINS - Communication and training for commercial seafarers throughout the world.

* DISTRIBUTIVE INDUSTRY - a series of workbooks and audio training packages for the both retail and wholesale distributors.

* TOURISM - Gateway training for the Italian tourist industry.

* For THE BRITISH COUNCIL We have recorded training packages at Intermediate and Advanced levels for their ON-LINE teaching project, internet-based programmes which won the 2001 award for BEST PRODUCT OF THE YEAR at the WORLD OPEN LEARNING CONFERENCE. This award was particularly gratifying as it was won against competition from world-wide organisations in Japan, Germany, France and the U.S.A.

* And we can now number The UNITED NATIONS amongst our satisfied customers! We have recently completed recording of training materials for UN PEACEKEEPING MONITORS in Afghanistan.
